**** WE ARE HIRING ***** Inflatable & RIB Technician Do you have a keen eye for detail and a "hands-on" approach to problem-solving? We are looking for a skilled RIB Tube Repairer & fitter to join our marine maintenance workshop. Whether it’s a pinhole leak in a commercial Workboat or a full tube replacement on a luxury tender, you’ll be the one ensuring our clients stay afloat and safe. The Role As one of our technicians, you’ll be responsible for the restoration and maintenance of Hypalon inflatable tubes. This isn't just a "patch and go" job, it’s a craft that requires patience, precision, and a deep understanding of the materials your working with. Key Responsibilities: Repairs: Performing high-quality bonding repairs on punctures, tears, and seam failures etc. Refurbishment: Removing old tubes and prepping hulls for complete re-tubing projects. Component Fitting: Installing handles, rubbing strake, D-rings, and pressure relief valves. Quality Control: Ensuring all repairs meet safety standards and aesthetic expectations before the boat hits the water. What We’re Looking For Experience: Proven experience working with Hypalon and PU fabrics. Precision: Ability to cut, sand, and glue with accuracy, clean finishes are a must. Knowledge: Familiarity with 2-part adhesive systems and solvent cleaners. Stamina: Physical fitness to move, flip, and work around large hulls in a workshop environment.
